I love to take really hot baths while drinking really cold carbonated water.

I have a lot of people I admire. People whose work makes them of service to the planet with big positive impacts.

A rock star.
Favorite book or film:
I really love stories- it’s impossible to narrow it down. I’ve read almost every book that John Steinbeck wrote. Reading Dune had a real impact on me when I was younger too.
Music that instantly puts Mark in a good mood:
African Kora music.
If Mark could be a superhero, his superpower would be:
The ability to heal things. All forms of sickness, including greed and ignorance.
Pets:
I have a neurotic mutt who is mostly border collie. His name is Shadow and he was a rescue. He can be very sweet but he’s also a little too smart for his own good and only listens when he wants to or there’s food involved.
Special talent, skill, or passion:
I worked professionally in theater for a long time when I was younger. So I’m very familiar with that world, and spent a long time learning how to do it.
Most memorable experience in nature:
I went backpacking in Glacier National Park with some buddies when I was 21 years old. It blew my mind.
Favorite food to eat or make:
These days it’s a cheeseburger and fries but I can only have that combo occasionally.
