Biohabitats was contracted by the National Park Service to provide on-call native revegetation design and installation services for all parks and facilities in the Eastern Region for four years. The contract assisted park units with native revegetation and restoration projects which would have otherwise have taken years. Biohabitats provided design and contracting services for native revegetation and invasive species management for sites ranging from the shores of Lake Michigan to the bayous of Louisiana. Biohabitats served as both a general contractor and self-performed the installation work. Services included site assessments, soil analysis, planting plans, details and specifications, topographic modifications, plant and seed procurement, installation and maintenance, invasive species management, and herbivory control.
