At Biohabitats, we know that applying for a new role can be both exciting and a little nerve-racking. That is why we are committed to making our hiring process as clear, thoughtful, and respectful of your time as possible. From your first application to your first day, we want you to feel informed, supported, and valued. While some positions may have variations in the process, here is a step-by-step look at what you can expect when you apply to join our team.

Step 1: Apply

Your journey with Biohabitats starts here! We encourage you to apply for positions that closely match your skills, experience, and career goals. Take a moment to carefully review each job description to ensure it is the right fit.

When applying, please pay close attention to the required documents listed in the job posting. This may include your resume, a cover letter, portfolio samples, or other relevant materials. Submitting a complete application helps us understand your strengths and ensures a smoother review process. In the event that your application is incomplete, it may result in removal from consideration for the role.

Step 2: Interview

If your application moves forward, you will be invited to participate in our interview process, which includes one initial virtual screening followed by two additional interviews with various members of our team. These conversations are designed to help us learn more about your experience and how you might contribute to our team, and to give you a chance to learn more about us.

Interviews may be conducted virtually or in-person, depending on the role and location. We will provide all the details you need ahead of time, including who you will be meeting and how to prepare. Our goal is to create a respectful, engaging, and informative experience for every candidate.

Step 3: Offer

Congratulations, and welcome to Biohabitats! If selected, you will receive a formal offer letter that will outline your new role and provide details regarding benefits, compensation, and other pre-employment instructions. Please be sure to respond promptly based on the expiration date to accept/deny the offer.

If you have any questions about your offer, reach out to the People & Culture Team.

Step 4: Onboarding

Whether you are joining Biohabitats in-person or remotely, our goal is to make your transition as smooth as possible. Our onboarding process is designed to set you up for success from day one. You will receive all the necessary information to help you feel confident and supported in your new role. From getting familiar with our systems to meeting your team and learning about our culture, we will guide you every step of the way.
