Senior Landscape Architect
Location: Hudson River Bioregion, Brooklyn, NY.
Biohabitats is seeking a Senior Landscape Architect with a strong background in ecology and experience in nature-based design and/or ecological restoration to join our Hudson River Bioregion team.
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, analytical, design, project management, and graphic communication skills that can be applied to a variety of projects including planning studies, in-field ecological assessments, preparation of design plans and construction documents, and materials to support community engagement initiatives. The successful candidate will work with our multidisciplinary team of scientists, landscape architects, and engineers to lead and support ecological restoration, conservation, climate adaptation and resiliency, and environmental justice work for government, private, and non-governmental organizations.

Restoration Ecologist
Location: Southeast Atlantic Bioregion, Raleigh, NC.
Biohabitats is seeking a Restoration Ecologist with experience in southeast Piedmont and Coastal ecosystems to join our growing Southeast Atlantic Bioregion team.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in ecological assessment, restoration, and monitoring of freshwater and coastal wetlands, riverine and riparian systems, native grasslands, and the forest communities of Southeast Atlantic ecosystems. They will also bring project management experience, with the ability to lead projects, coordinate across teams, and manage timelines and deliverables effectively. Strong field ecology skills are essential, including native plant identification, wetland identification and delineation, tree surveys, coastal and terrestrial habitat assessments, RTE surveys, and wildlife monitoring.
Operations Assistant
Location: Chesapeake/ Delaware Bays Bioregion, Baltimore, MD.
Biohabitats is seeking an Operations Assistant to support the day-to-day functioning of our Chesapeake/Delaware Bays Bioregion and broader corporate operations.
The ideal candidate is a highly organized and dependable professional who thrives in a dynamic, support-focused role. They are proactive, detail-oriented, and able to anticipate needs before they arise, bringing a strong sense of ownership to both daily tasks and longer-term responsibilities. Restoration Field Technician – Seasonal
Location: Cascadia Bioregion, Portland, Oregon.
Biohabitats, a leading conservation planning, ecological restoration, regenerative design, and construction firm is seeking a Restoration Field Technician – Seasonal to join our self-perform construction team in our Portland, Oregon location. Our self-perform construction crews are led by restoration specialists who manage projects from a values and people first mindset.
This opportunity is for a Green Street Infrastructure project in the Portland Metro area during the summer of 2026. Estimated timeframe is June 1 – October 15, 2026. The project’s focus is natural area vegetation maintenance and irrigation, including invasive vegetation identification and removal.

Tomorrow’s Practitioners
Our interdisciplinary internship program provides the opportunity to explore career pathways in environmental consulting. Our interns have included graduate and undergraduate students in programs such as environmental science and engineering, landscape architecture, planning, public health, and economics. Our program encourages interdisciplinary exploration and provides applied industry experience to prepare interns for hire upon completion.
