Muskegon Lake: Ruddiman Creek and Nearby Shoreline, Ecological Restoration Master Plan
Second Public Workshop on November 29, 2007

The second public workshop for the Muskegon Lake, Ruddiman Creek and nearby Shoreline Ecological Restoration Master Plan was held on November 29th, 2007 at the Michigan Alternative and Renewable Energy Center in Muskegon, Michigan. Biohabitats began the meeting with a field walk of specific locations in the project area to familiarize the stakeholders with site conditions. After returning to the meeting room, Biohabitats presented a review of the information gathered at the first public workshop in September, 2007, and demonstrated how this information was synthesized to become the Goals, Objectives, and Actions presented in the Draft Ecological Restoration Master Plan. The bulk of the meeting was devoted to review of the Draft Plan document, including a critique of the restoration Goals and Actions outlined in the plan.
